23' glassply with alaska bulkhead

These boats are hard to find and considered by many to be one of the best boats ever designed and constructed for SE Alaska. Their thick fiberglass hull provides a comfortable ride in rough water. This boat is unique, as it is in top condition. It was completely restored in the 90's by a reputable Anacortes boat yard. It was stripped to the hull, new triple glassed stringers were installed, transom rebuilt, new decks aft of the cuddy cabin, new gunwale panels, engine cover, cabinets, windows, trim tabs, auto pilot, new electronics, 109 gal. aluminum fuel tank was installed over the keel, new engine and outdrive (Chevy 350 v8 with 275 hp f.w.c. and Volvo Penta 570/290 dual prop with hydraulic steering. Original Invoices on file.

After approximately 300 hours, the boat was placed in covered storage for several years. In 2009, the boat was sold to the present owners, who had Rocky's Marine remove and disassemble the engine and outdrive IE: new heads, carburetor, fuel pump, valve covers, harness, starter, relays, coil, water pump, belts, pulleys, hoses, etc. Also replaced/upgraded fuse blocks/buss, fuel hoses, etc. All invoices and list of work performed available for review. Additionally, outdated electronics were replaced with a Garmin 4210 integrated GPS, chart plotter/sonar with fuel management.

This boat is very economical and in great condition. It should provide years of trouble free boating. It has significant range and burns 6 gal per hour at 16 mph (top speed over40 mph). Boat also has two down riggers, 2004 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke Bigfoot kicker, 12 volt refrigerator, two burner alcohol stove, sink with 6 gallon water, cabin heater off the engine and v-birth sleeper with comfortable cushions (cushions and covers in like new condition). Manuals and numerous new spare parts come with the boat.

Owners are looking to upgrade to a bigger boat.
