Salesperson Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in finding the right products
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor

Marine/Outboard Technicians - Juneau
We have an opening for a full time, year round Marine Technician. Marine industry experience is required. You will join a hardworking team of skilled marine technicians and Yamaha Master Techs servicing Yamaha Outboards, Volvo Penta systems, boat electrical and fuel systems, and trailers. Technicians must have a thorough understanding of the Diagnostic Process, Two Stroke and Four Stroke Theory, Electrical Diagnostics, and general shop processes. Specialized training is available for motivated individuals. Technicians are required to keep accurate records to assist the sales and service department’s operation within the dealership. Assure that all charges related to repair orders are recorded properly.
Technician Responsibilities:
- Performs repair order requests and warranty work.
- Promptly provides service department with repair orders for filing and recording.
- Maintains contact with service and sales department.
- Promotes products and/or services to meet customer needs.
- Must have 1-year experience in the marine industry.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Maintains Yamaha credentials.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Technician Job Type:

Technician Starting Salary:
- $18.00 to $30.00 /hour DOE with opportunity to increase with skill

Service Writer - Juneau
Service Writer/Advisor maintains accurate records relative to the Yamaha Outboard service department’s operation within the Yamaha Outboard dealership. Assure that all charges related to Repair Orders are posted properly. Assure all Repair Orders are closed on a timely basis. Responsible for in-store customer service and overall organizational promotion. In addition, may perform selling, receiving and delivery of Yamaha Outboard parts and accessories.
Service Writer/Advisor Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Open Repair Orders and maintain control until closed and invoiced.
- Handles Repair Order charges, warranty validation & claims coverage’s including charges, submission and follow-up.
- Handles service department filing and records.
- Maintains customer contact.
- Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
- Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
- Must have 1-year experience in the marine industry.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
- Must have a driver’s license.
Service Writer/Advisor Customer Service:
- Must have outgoing, friendly personality, superior communication & customer service skills.
- Experience working in a service department is preferred, but NOT required.
- Ability to write and work on routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to resolve customer concerns.
- Must be a self-motivated problem solver.
- Good computer skills.
- Good organizational ability.
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
